As my Twitter profile states:
Designer, photographer, education innovator and instructor, and a proud dad spreading simple goals: be kind to others and use good design. Period.
But obviously, I’m more than those limited character perimeters. A native Texan, I graduated from Bishop Gorman at the turn of the century and, four years later with several degrees in hand, I returned to teach at my alma mater to teach. During that eight year tenure, I saw my focus shift to areas where I felt lacked “awe” both in the classroom and the community. This led me further down the rabbit hole of effective design. An artist creates for themselves – a designer creates for others.
I took on new titles as Director of Communications and new job markets as Director of Marketing, but all the time, never turning down an opportunity to improve a situation, a publication, an environment.
